In collaboration with the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy (University of Hamburg), the Third Nuclear Age (University of Leicester) jointly organised a three-day conference in November 2025 on the nuclear deterrence challenges to European borders, with over 25 experts from across the continent including governmental guests.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly a simulation exercise of the Russo-Ukraine conflict, set in the near future, with participants acting as various syndicates. Overall, the conference discussions were engaging and meaningful.
