In June 2025, the British International Studies Association (BISA) held its 50th anniversary conference in Belfast.

Team members, Prof. Andrew Futter and Dr Shivani Singh participated in a roundtable discussion on “Exploring the meaning of a third nuclear age”. The roundtable was chaired by Franziska Stärk (University of Hamburg), and included Cameron Hunter (University of Copenhagen), Dr Rhys Crilley and Dr Carolina Pantolino (both at University of Glasgow).
