Andrew Futter organises military space workshop

In September 2024, the Third Nuclear Age team co-organised an event at RAF Fylingdales in North Yorkshire, examining “The future of UK military space”.  The workshop at Royal Air Force was designed to explore the nature of the strategic missions undertaken at the base and the link with UK nuclear deterrence, as well as unpacking the current and future space threat landscape.  

The workshop brought together over 20 leading academic experts, industry professionals, and serving military officers, as well as current and former UK government officials.
